Aleu now owns a pack of her own. She has many more pack members including cubs, male & female wolves. Unfortunately, she has some who even want to fight for leadership. And now, the pack says she has to have an Alpha male (mate)! But when Balto comes to visit, he doesn't like the wolves who love Aleu. He points out all their faults. Here we go again!

Aleu lead the pack towards the mountains, nearer to Balto's village. She was expecting a visit from him soon, and she didn't want him to walk miles just to see her. Aleu turned her attention to the pack. "We'll be resting her until my father gets here. So make yourself comfortable."

Kodita leaped up on a boulder next to Aleu. "Nice, speech."

Aleu laughed. "Hello, Kodita."

"Hi, is your father a nice guy? Is he cute? How does he look?" Kodita asked. She was looking for a mate, also. Although her secret crush was Koji.

Aleu looked at her and rolled her eyes. "Kodita, obviously, my father already has a mate. Where do you think I came from? Oh, look. There's Balto!"

Aleu smiled. "Hi, dad!" She went up and nuzzled Balto. "Dad, this is Kodita. Kodita, this is Balto."

Kodita smiled and bowed. "Hello, welcome to the pack. How long are you staying?"

Koji appeared running with a big smile on his face.-"Hi Aleu! You look beautiful today,hey, I was wondering if maybe you would like to...take...a walk...with...me." His smile faded when he saw a new wolf, or at least he looked like a wolf, but there was something different about him. "Hi there! I have never seen you before, are you a new member of the pack?" - He asked smiling at Balto.

Koji felt so nervous he thought he was going to pass out right there, but he tried to calm down and tried to talk. "Oh...Aleu's father...hi..I'm...Koji...nice too meet you too."
Koji felt dumb after that so he just hopped that Balto had a good reaction.

Aleu felt awkward also, but she forced out a smile. "Um........well, nothing really. I'm just.........taking care of my pack." She laughed and gave Koji a wait-for-me-over-there look. Aleu pointed toward the trees with her nose, hoping Koji got her message.

Kodita got the message and helped Aleu. "Um, well it was nice meeting you, Balto. I have to go talk to Koji now, okay? Bye!'' Kodita led Koji towards the trees. She peeked behind the trees, watching Balto & Aleu. Then she turned to Koji. Kodita felt like she was going to faint. She thought Koji was soooo cute, and Aleu was sooo lucky. "So, how are you doing, Koji?" Kodita lay her ears back, trying to look as pretty as possible.

"What do you want to do, Dad?" Aleu asked. She glanced sideways and saw Kodita. A growl grew in her throat, but she continued talking to Balto.

"Uhmm...fine...thanks." Said Koji, but he really wasn't paying attention to Kodita, he was trying to see what Aleu and Balto were doing, but when he gave up he turned to Kodita. "Hey! Aleu's dad is here! it's crazy huh? he looks nice...so...you are Aleu's friend, aren't you?"

Aleu nodded and smiled. "Um, yeah.......Actually, I want my friends to meet her also, so I'l be right back to get them. I'll meet you there." Aleu walked over to Koji and Kodita. She gave Kodita a warning look and then looked back, making sure Balto wasn't looking. "Okay, good. He hasn't noticed anything. Koji, let's try not to make it look obvious. If you want to come meet my mom, try to make it look like you have no interest in me whatsoever, okay?"

Kodita blushed and looked at the ground. "Ooooorrrrrr.......he could pretend......that we like each other." Kodita flattened her ears again and looked at Aleu and Koji.

Aleu rolled her eyes and put on a stern look. "Right," she said slowly. "Come on." Aleu lead them behind Balto to Jenna.
